Eco Friendly Accommodation Christchurch, New Zealand

CentrePoint on Colombo Motel - Modern Motel in the Heart of Christchurch

Thinking of the environment has always been a part of our lives.  Jeff was a Boy Scout and living in an energy and waste conscious Japan meant that the basics become second nature.   We are not die hard greenies by any means but do realise that making a positive contribution whenever possible is worth the effort, especially when the process results in increased guest comfort and yes, cost efficiencies.

We were awarded Qualmark Enviro-Silver in August 2010 and have honoured our award while introducing new initiatives through the quake period.

We understand that all businesses create environmental and social impact through their activities and that ours is no exception. We will try to actively reduce any adverse effects through buying wisely, using resources efficiently, disposing of waste responsibly, and providing an environmentally and socially responsible service to our guests.

CentrePoint on Colombo Motel has initiatives and programmes aimed at reducing our impact on New Zealand's beautiful environment while at the same time ensuring your stay is as comfortable as you require. We welcome our guests' decision to cooperate and participate in these energy conserving programmes and initiatives.
